Yes, grow and deepen your mastery. Make your skills laser sharp. Make your beautiful art until you have a glowing, brilliant body of work you’re proud of. Do what you do because you love it and it makes your soul bloom. Be who you are because you’re being your best, brightest self.
But don’t ever feel you have to squelch your magnificent wings into a tiny box because “they” feel threatened or intimidated by you. Don’t ever shut down your voice because they tell you you’re too loud, too outspoken, too out there. Don’t ever let them muzzle your greatness because your vision’s too big for them to understand or accept.
You’re not here for the haters, the doubters, the venomous critics, or the people just living each day in a haze of apathy, lethargy, and mediocrity.
You’re here for the people who grow you, who challenge you to be better, who want to see you win so they can celebrate with you.
You’re here for the people who need what you’ve got because they’re hungry to learn from you and transform their own lives.
You’re here to live out loud and take no prisoners.
Break off the labels. Go supernova. Make your bold, exuberant art and don’t be afraid to own this moment.
